AI Governance

Use AI confidently and compliantly.

MADE NEXT PC helps businesses navigate the legal risks of AI — IP ownership of AI outputs, vendor agreements, bias liability, regulatory compliance and responsible use policies.

Overview

Use AI confidently and compliantly.

Creative teams and startups are building AI into products, content and operations faster than the law can settle. That raises real questions: who owns AI-assisted work, what your AI vendors can do with your data, and which new rules apply to you.

We help you adopt AI with clear eyes — reviewing the tools you use, setting internal policies, and tracking obligations under the EU AI Act, FTC enforcement and emerging U.S. state laws.

Future-proof your AI strategy before regulators do it for you.

FAQ

AI Governance questions, answered.

Can I copyright content created with AI?

In the U.S., copyright protects human authorship. The U.S. Copyright Office has said material generated entirely by AI isn’t protectable, but works with sufficient human creative contribution — such as selection, arrangement or modification — can be. AI-generated elements should be disclosed when registering.

Does the EU AI Act apply to U.S. companies?

It can. The EU AI Act reaches providers that place AI systems on the EU market and businesses whose AI output is used in the EU, regardless of where they are based. Its obligations are being phased in over several years.

What should we look for in AI vendor terms?

Whether the vendor can train on your inputs, how long it keeps your data, who owns the outputs, whether it indemnifies you against IP claims, and how confidential information is protected.

Do we need an AI use policy?

If your team uses AI tools at work, yes. A clear policy reduces the risk of leaking confidential or client data, publishing inaccurate content, or infringing someone else’s rights.

Can the FTC act on AI-related claims?

Yes. The FTC has made clear that existing consumer protection law applies to AI, including deceptive claims about what an AI product can do and unfair uses of consumer data.
